 The working principle of the sanitary three-piece butterfly valve is to realize the opening and closing control of the medium flow of the valve by rotating the butterfly plate. When the valve stem rotates under the action of the drive device (such as manual handle, pneumatic or electric actuator), the butterfly plate is driven to rotate around the shaft of the valve stem. When the butterfly plate is opened, its plane is parallel to the pipeline axis, and the medium can flow smoothly in the pipeline; when the butterfly plate is closed, the butterfly plate plane is perpendicular to the pipeline axis, and the edge of the butterfly plate is closely aligned with the valve seat, thus cutting off the medium flow. By controlling the rotation angle of the butterfly plate, the adjustment of the medium flow rate can be realized.
